Chanel Chemistry Laboratory Manager

The Chemistry Laboratory, a vital component of the Scientific Expertise Division, plays a strategic role in product development amidst increasing regulatory and scientific demands.
- Develop and validate analytical methods from ultra-trace to ingredient level.
- Support product development and industrialization processes.
- Evaluate, validate, and monitor the quality of raw materials.
- Lead and secure new developments, including regulatory and stability dossiers and analytical control plans.
- Identify and propose solutions to undesirable chemical and physicochemical phenomena.
- Support innovation and research by conducting physicochemical studies to understand in-situ phenomena, interactions, and reactions.
- Structure scientific monitoring and ensure awareness of analytical methods, technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Provide technical-regulatory expertise and participate in interprofessional groups.
- Lead the annual surveillance campaign.
- Drive laboratory performance by developing team members, ensuring analysis reliability, and strategically planning activities.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and unite the team around shared ambitious objectives.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of laboratory experience in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or food industry.
- Leadership and team management.
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Scientific curiosity and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a demanding environment with varied and evolving challenges.
