Chanel Business Analyst, Fashion Distribution Channels (Apprenticeship)

- Support the Distribution Channels team with quantitative analysis of retail, wholesale and e‑commerce performance across fashion product lines.
- Produce and maintain weekly and monthly KPI reports, dashboards and executive summaries for commercial and merchandising stakeholders.
- Perform sell‑through, inventory turnover and assortment analyses to inform replenishment and allocation decisions.
- Develop and automate data extracts and visualisations (Power BI/Tableau or equivalent) to streamline reporting workflows.
- Contribute to channel projects (store openings, concept tests, promotional planning) by delivering analytical insights and scenario modelling.
- Coordinate with commercial, merchandising and supply chain teams to ensure data consistency and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Enrolled in a tertiary programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in business analytics, economics, finance, supply chain, data science or fashion management and eligible for alternance/apprenticeship.
- Strong quantitative aptitude with demonstrated ability to manipulate large datasets and derive business insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present analytical findings clearly to commercial stakeholders.
- Professional attitude, discretion and attention to detail consistent with a luxury retail environment.
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query)
- SQL
- Power BI or Tableau
- Basic scripting for analysis (Python or R)
- Data visualisation and dashboard design
- Analytical problem solving and stakeholder reporting
Practical experience via internships or project work in retail analytics, commercial reporting or supply chain analytics is highly desirable; the role is suitable for a candidate early in their career seeking an alternance placement beginning September 2026.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Supply Chain Management or Fashion Business.
