Chanel Associate Director of Client Development

- Develop and implement client development strategies for Very Important Clients (VIC), high potential, and top client segments.
- Align strategies with boutique priorities to enhance Voice of Customer (VOC) in collaboration with boutique management.
- Cultivate high-level relationships and represent Chanel as a brand ambassador to inspire boutique teams and engage elite prospects.
- Define and execute a successful clienteling strategy in partnership with boutique management and corporate teams.
- Lead client and business development strategies by creating exceptional experiences in alignment with boutique priorities and category managers.
- Develop and implement high ROI event strategies in collaboration with boutique management and the Events team.
- Build a strong high-end local clientele network, leveraging existing industry relationships.
- Identify and target high potential clients to create special experiences that increase retention.
- Collaborate with corporate teams to elevate programs for top clients, such as gifting programs and event tickets.
- Minimum 7 years of related leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to lift 15 lbs.
- Flexible schedule with availability for late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.
- Proficiency in developing and executing client engagement strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
A minimum of seven years in a leadership role within client development or a related field is required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $135,000 to $165,000. Additional forms of variable pay may include bonuses, benefits, and perks.
