Chanel Assistant Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager

- Perform overall month-end closing for the Taiwan market, ensuring timely and accurate recording of journal entries in line with service level agreements and defined closing mechanisms.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with local accounting standards and IFRS.
- Review outputs to identify errors or inconsistencies, making necessary corrections to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, statutory financial statements, and global reporting.
- Conduct variance analyses, define Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and ensure timely resolution of variances and reconciling items.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency with financial and operational systems, including their functionality, workflows, and automated controls.
- Facilitate strong collaboration within the finance community to achieve high-quality and timely month-end closing.
- Support the Senior Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager on new financial initiatives and changing business requirements.
- University degree
- CPA/CA/ICAA or equivalent qualification preferred
- Advanced proficiency in financial and operational systems
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or another Asian language is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build successful relationships through collaboration and consensus building
Minimum of 5 years of work experience, including 2 years in a managerial role. Experience with a Big 4 audit firm and in a Shared Service Center is advantageous.
University degree
