Chanel Assistant Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager

1. Perform overall month-end closing for the Taiwan market, ensuring timely and accurate recording of journal entries in line with service level agreements and defined closing mechanisms.
2. Manage month-end and year-end closing activities in accordance with local accounting standards and IFRS.
3. Review outputs to identify errors or inconsistencies, making necessary corrections to ensure accuracy and quality.
4. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, statutory financial statements, and global reporting.
5. Conduct variance analyses, define Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and ensure timely resolution of variances and reconciling items.
6. Demonstrate advanced proficiency with financial and operational systems, including their functionality, workflows, and automated controls.
7. Facilitate strong collaboration within the finance community to achieve high-quality and timely month-end closing.
8. Support the Senior Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager on new financial initiatives and changing business requirements.

1. University degree
2. CPA/CA/ICAA or equivalent qualification preferred

1. Advanced proficiency in financial and operational systems
2. Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or another Asian language is advantageous
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to build successful relationships through collaboration and consensus building

Minimum of 5 years of work experience, including 2 years in a managerial role. Experience with a Big 4 audit firm and in a Shared Service Center is advantageous.
