Chanel Area Sales Manager, Fragrance & Beauty

1. Direct and accelerate sell-out performance across assigned stores in the Hangzhou area, ensuring achievement of revenue, conversion and average transaction value targets.
2. Lead, coach and develop store managers and sales teams to elevate clientelling, product knowledge and customer experience to Chanel standards.
3. Own local commercial planning: implement promotional calendars, product launches, and activation plans in coordination with regional and HQ teams.
4. Monitor and analyse sales KPIs, inventory levels and sell-through; produce accurate forecasts and delivery plans to optimise availability and reduce stock obsolescence.
5. Ensure consistent brand presentation and visual merchandising compliance across all outlets; drive excellence in in-store experience and luxury standards.
6. Recruit, onboard and retain high-potential retail talent; manage performance reviews and succession planning for the area.
7. Collaborate with marketing, merchandising and operations to tailor local initiatives, event hospitality and CRM campaigns that deepen client engagement.

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, luxury management or equivalent professional experience.
2. Proven managerial experience within luxury beauty, fragrance or cosmetics retail, ideally with responsibility for multiple stores.
3. Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing P&L-related responsibilities.
4. Excellent leadership and people-development skills with experience coaching high-performing retail teams.
5. Exceptional interpersonal and client relationship skills with a service-driven mindset and attention to discretion.
