1. Produce high-quality altered merchandise within established time frame standards.
2. Provide excellent service while establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
3. Work effectively with associates and management in the boutique.
4. Fit garments on clients to determine necessary alterations.
5. Alter or repair garments, including hemming, mending, lengthening, and adjusting seams.
6. Maintain client-owned pieces in line with Chanel's expectations.
7. Ensure sewing machines and equipment are in proper working order.
8. Communicate with clients to determine their specifications, needs, and preferences.
9. Use irons and pressing machines to remove creases from garments.

1. Minimum 5 years of alterations experience in a luxury retail environment preferred.
2. Sound knowledge of various fabrics and sewing techniques.
3. Ability to work under time constraints.
4. Detail-oriented and exceptional client service skills.
5. Minimum High School Diploma.
6. Ability to lift 15 lb.
7. Flexible schedule with availability for late nights, weekends, and some holidays.

1. Strong technical background in specialty skills such as leather, knits, double-face, beading, fine tailoring, and buttonholes.
2. Strong attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Ability to thrive in a team environment and work collaboratively.
5. Understanding of and passion for client experience.
6. Foreign language skills preferred but not required.

A minimum of 5 years of related experience in alterations within a luxury retail environment is preferred.

Minimum High School Diploma.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $27.70 to $40.00 per hour. Additional variable pay components may include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
