Chanel Accounts Payable Specialist

- Ensure accurate accounting of supplier invoices without purchase orders in compliance with accounting and tax regulations using Basware.
- Accurately account for invoices with purchase orders for both stocked and non-stocked purchases, ensuring reconciliation in BASWARE.
- Facilitate invoice validation in BASWARE and liaise with internal Chanel departments to complete purchase order receipts.
- Address issues related to fees, VAT, and URSSAF for artist authors.
- Utilize SAP and Coupa to review orders and monitor quality controls for stocked purchases.
- Manage and track advance requests using Coupa and SAP.
- Respond to inquiries and follow-ups received in the department's generic email inbox.
- Perform supplier account closing tasks, including accounting for provision slips and validating provision justifications.
- Manage unbilled receipts and monitor the clearing of FNP.
- Collaborate with the payment service to analyze advances and deductions.
- Monitor accrued expenses and conduct control checks on automatic provisions.
- Create monthly analytical reports and conduct internal controls.
- Analyze recurring expenses and justify direct entries in SAP.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Management (Bac+2 equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a digitalized accounts payable department.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, particularly in stocked purchases.
- Proficiency in SAP MM for stocked purchases and SAP FI.
- Advanced skills in office tools, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills to guide suppliers and internal Chanel services in adhering to accounting procedures.
- Interest in continuous improvement and implementation of new work methods and tools.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a digitalized accounts payable department is required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Management (Bac+2 equivalent).
