Chanel Accessories Quality and Testing Specialist

- Conduct laboratory tests to assess resistance to abrasion, flexion, traction, water repellency, color fastness, seam strength, and sole durability.
- Ensure footwear compliance with safety standards.
- Simulate real-use scenarios to test comfort, durability, and functionality.
- Draft quality tolerance reports and documents in collaboration with the team.
- Prepare KPIs to monitor quality levels at the shipping center and in after-sales markets.
- Participate in virtual meetings with distribution countries to gather boutique feedback on customer returns.
- Manage quality alerts and production issues.
- Research historical models to assist in the authentication of footwear in markets.
- Update quality control tables for inspectors with each collection.
- Archive defective pairs returned from markets.
- Handle the sending, receiving, and management of package flows to and from Italy and abroad.
- Degree in Materials Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field in fashion technology or quality control.
- Technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and practical sensitivity.
- Team-oriented with a solution-focused approach.
- Analytical skills and data processing capability.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent command of English; French is an advantage.

Experience in quality control or testing within the fashion or luxury goods industry is preferred.
