Chandon Assistant Retail Design & Visual Merchandising Intern

- Assist in the development and implementation of new visual merchandising tools.
- Contribute to the creation and installation of permanent displays and in-store animations.
- Collaborate with Brand Homes and domestic market teams to ensure adherence to visual merchandising guidelines and integrate feedback.
- Support the design of store layouts, customer journeys, and consumer experiences for new store openings, renovations, and special projects.
- Aid in the selection and procurement of furniture, equipment, and design elements.
- Prepare presentations, mood boards, and other visual tools to communicate concepts to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely design implementation.
- Assist in managing timelines, budgets, and resources for visual merchandising and retail design projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including global marketing, domestic teams, and Brand Homes, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Participate in store visits to evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising and design implementations.
- Stay informed on current retail design and visual merchandising trends, including competitive analysis.
- Provide market study-based recommendations to enhance brand visual presentation.
- Contribute to the development of innovative, trend-focused design concepts.
- Maintain updated records and tools for visual merchandising, design, and technical projects.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal meetings and reviews.
- Manage administrative tasks related to the role, including scheduling, communication, and order management.
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, or Interior Design.
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp.
- Team-oriented, organized, and solution-focused with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
- Strong sensitivity to luxury brands and the Wines & Spirits sector.
- Retail-oriented, structured, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
Beginner level experience is acceptable.
Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, or Interior Design.
