- Oversee the overall management of the store, including staff, merchandise, and customer service.
- Achieve sales objectives and maintain high operational and merchandising standards.
- Build and develop a highly motivated team and foster a team spirit.
- Engage in the recruitment process and provide systematic induction for new staff.
- Conduct monthly staff reviews and identify individual strengths and areas for improvement.
- Ensure the highest degree of customer service and address customer service issues.
- Utilize Retail Pro for inventory management and collaborate with the Buyer for ordering responsibilities.
- Provide monthly qualitative and quantitative business reports.
- Maintain a positive relationship with corporate, regional offices, and other stores.
- Manage full Profit and Loss responsibility, focusing on controllable expenses and sales plans.
- Ensure adherence to grooming and styling standards and monitor store appearance.
- Manage administrative tasks including staff scheduling and planning of paid holidays.
- Drive sales to meet or exceed budgets and support sales staff in client relationship building.
- Understand and manage store performance by product category.
- Maintain merchandising standards in collaboration with the Visual Merchandiser.
- Minimum of 7-10 years in store management, preferably in a luxury setting.
- Proficiency in using various software packages.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with staff, peers, and corporate offices.
- Experience in recruitment, assessment, and interviewing.
- Ability to coach and develop employees in performance areas.
- Action-oriented and results-driven.
- Ability to motivate others and build effective teams.
- Customer service-oriented with strong social perceptiveness.
- Proficiency in mediating and resolving issues.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Minimum 10 years of store management experience, preferably within the luxury sector.
