Celine Product Development Director

- Lead the development of new products for each collection, including prototypes and samples.
- Collaborate with Design and Marketing teams to define product and material requirements and collection timelines.
- Manage the development budget and ensure product costing aligns with target margins in collaboration with production, purchasing, and industrialization departments.
- Propose technical and innovative ideas to enhance product quality and cost efficiency.
- Oversee the development of new materials in close cooperation with the Sourcing team.
- Manage pattern-making and prototyping activities to meet schedule requirements.
- Ensure completion of technical data for BOMs and PDM to support sourcing and production planning.
- Participate in review meetings to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability.
- Implement internal procedures and key milestones for product development processes.
- Apply brand quality guidelines and aesthetic standards.
- Oversee daily management and development of the team, providing vision, drive, and feedback.
- Organize and manage the Pattern Making, Prototyping, Product Development, Costing, and Masterdata Management departments.
- University degree in Economics, Engineering, Fashion Industry, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in a Development Department within the Fashion Industry.
- Proficient knowledge of products and manufacturing processes.
- Strong experience managing relationships with Design, Marketing, and Production teams.
- Exceptional management and organizational skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisions in complex environments.
- Agility and innovation-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in delegation and team building.
A minimum of 10 years in a Development Department within the Fashion Industry is required.
University degree in Economics, Engineering, Fashion Industry, or a related field.
