Celine Merchandising Trainee

- Assist in maintaining and generating weekly sales reports, preparing sell-through reports, and compiling seasonal qualitative collection feedback.
- Support the Merchandising team with ad-hoc analysis as required.
- Facilitate all merchandising communications for stores, including weekly newsletter updates, seasonal selling tools, and product knowledge.
- Prepare recaps on the competitive landscape, including competitor pricing, trends, and market activities.
- Assist during seasonal Buying Markets by compiling premarket analysis, maintaining buy sheets, and performing ad-hoc analysis.
- Aid in transferring and consolidating products across the region and follow up on product deliveries.
- Support the Leather Goods team in moving merchandise between stores for exotic caravans.
- Active student in the NYC area pursuing an MBA or Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business Management or Fashion.
- Minimum of 2 years of work or internship experience.
- Availability from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, with remote work on Fridays.
- Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of the overall business, capable of proposing options and solutions.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in Excel and other software packages for creating reports and analytics.
- Passion and sensibility for the fashion and luxury-goods industry.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability for independent and creative problem-solving.
- Excellent organization and time management skills, capable of managing tight deadlines and multitasking.
- Proficient in retail math.
A minimum of 2 years of work or internship experience is required, with experience in the luxury or fashion business considered a plus.
Active student in the NYC area pursuing an MBA or Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business Management or Fashion.
The compensation for this position ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, depending on the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
