- Coordinate and manage maintenance and repairs for retail locations across North America, including standalone boutiques and department store concessions.
- Collaborate with store planning teams to address maintenance issues promptly and manage punch lists for new store openings.
- Develop and maintain facility plans, ensuring efficient response to maintenance concerns and scheduled work.
- Source, contract, and oversee external facility service providers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Ensure timely procurement of equipment and parts, working closely with IT and store planning teams.
- Maintain comprehensive records of floor plans, specifications, materials, and preferred vendors for each store.
- Conduct on-site reviews to verify correct installation of repairs and layout improvements.
- Collaborate with retail and operations departments to align on business needs and execute projects effectively.
- Lead store teams in project management for store openings, expansions, and renovations.
- Develop cost-effective maintenance strategies and operational improvements for retail facilities.
- Manage the facility cost budget for the store portfolio, aligning with planned activities.
- Work with external vendors and consultants as necessary to ensure best business practices.
- Enhance efficiency by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.
- Align operational expectations for freestanding stores and department store concessions with the retail operations team.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Administration or equivalent experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Service Channel or similar ticket platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of construction and millwork standards for luxury retail environments.
- Strong vendor management skills, particularly in HVAC, construction, and maintenance.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized.
- Ability to transition seamlessly from creative design to management tasks.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of labor laws in the US and Canada with strong HR sensibility.
A minimum of 3 years in a retail facilities role, with experience managing luxury and specialty retail and wholesale projects.
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Administration or similar experience preferred.
Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $115,000, dependent on skills and experience.
