1. Analyze financial performance against budget, identify trends, and provide insightful commentary on variances.
2. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management.
3. Ensure accurate financial closing in collaboration with Finance & Accounting.
4. Evaluate the financial impact of proposed business decisions and provide recommendations to management.
5. Manage the budgeting process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with organizational goals.
6. Consolidate P&L to provide a comprehensive view of financial performance and prepare Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
7. Collaborate with Internal Control to establish and maintain a strong internal control environment.
8. Identify and address weaknesses in internal controls and financial policies.
9. Serve as a point of contact for external and internal auditors, providing necessary documentation.

1. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in finance.
2. Experience in retail business preferred; luxury/fashion business experience is a plus.
3. Experience with ANAPLAN is advantageous.

1. Fluency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English.
2. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
3. Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
4. Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting processes.
5. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in finance, with a preference for candidates with a background in the retail or luxury/fashion sectors.

The position offers a hybrid working model, allowing for a balance between office presence and remote work, with the office located conveniently close to Omotesando station in Tokyo.
