Cartier Merchandising Trainee

- Collaborate with HQ Operations and product managers to prepare for product launches and gather information on potential delays.
- Monitor and analyze sales trends, stock levels, and logistic processes, presenting findings and solutions to management.
- Assess boutique stock levels and sales to recommend and execute actions that support optimal product mix and sales.
- Develop and update boutique assortments based on trends and support boutique openings.
- Support sales forecasts for product ranges and new items, and manage stock availability inquiries from boutiques.
- Ensure efficient product flow and share best practices for stock transfers and quality maintenance.
- Provide operational support for staff sales and handle special projects, coordinating with various departments.
- Monitor inventory levels against targets, identify opportunities for stock transfers, and propose assortment adjustments.
- Manage product life cycles and organize returns of outdated collections.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, or a related field.
- Internships or 1 year of experience in merchandising, store planning, buying, or business development, preferably in the luxury industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a curiosity to enhance business acumen.
- Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in time management and decision-making.
- Ability to develop business strategies and plans related to inventory.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel, Analysis, and PowerPoint.
- Business fluency in English and German.
Internships or 1 year of relevant experience in merchandising or related fields, preferably within the luxury industry.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, or related field.
