Cartier Maintenance Technician

1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility systems, ensuring optimal equipment availability and reliability.
2. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electromechanical faults; execute root-cause analysis and implement durable corrective actions.
3. Maintain and calibrate precision tools, conveyors, CNC machines and ancillary equipment in accordance with manufacturer and internal standards.
4. Work with production and engineering teams to coordinate shutdowns, support line conversions and improve machine uptime through continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Manage maintenance documentation: update work orders, parts inventories and maintenance records in the CMMS and escalate critical spare parts needs.
6. Ensure compliance with site safety rules and regulatory requirements, including lockout/tagout procedures and machine guarding standards.

1. Vocational diploma or certificate in electromechanics, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or a closely related technical discipline.
2. Proven ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and to perform fault-finding on complex systems.
3. Strong manual dexterity and aptitude for precision work; attention to detail consistent with fine jewellery/watchmaking production environments.
4. Valid authorization to work in Switzerland.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in industrial or precision-manufacturing maintenance, with preference for candidates who have supported high-precision assembly or watchmaking production lines.

Vocational diploma in electromechanics, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or equivalent technical qualification.
