Cartier HSE Officer (Hygiene, Safety & Environment)

- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE policies, procedures and local operating rules across the site.
- Participate in risk assessments, workplace inspections and hazard identification activities; propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in incident reporting and root‑cause investigations, and track closure of corrective actions until verification.
- Contribute to regulatory compliance activities and preparation for internal and external HSE audits.
- Help deliver HSE training, toolbox talks and awareness campaigns for operational teams.
- Monitor occupational hygiene, waste management and environmental indicators; support reporting and documentation.
- Maintain HSE documentation, permits and records in line with company standards and legal requirements.
- Enrolled in a recognised technical or university programme in HSE, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent (alternance/apprenticeship contract).
- Knowledge of occupational health, safety and environmental principles, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to risk assessment and incident investigation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings and follow up with operational teams.
- Autonomous, organised and able to work in multidisciplinary teams within a production or logistics environment.

Suitable for a candidate at the start of their professional career; previous internships or practical experience in HSE, manufacturing, logistics or a related field are advantageous but not mandatory for this alternance position.
Currently enrolled in a relevant vocational, bachelor or master’s programme in Health, Safety & Environment, Environmental Science, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
