- Assist with the planning, organization, implementation, and oversight of cultural arts and history programs and special events.
- Provide developmentally appropriate activities that meet the needs and interests of participants.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of long-range plans and strategies.
- Assist in formulating goals and objectives specific to the area of responsibility, potentially developing and implementing an intern project.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and services, recommending the introduction or deletion of programs as necessary.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a marketing strategy for cultural arts programs, services, and facilities, including pricing and promotional efforts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of specific program details consistent with the cultural arts marketing strategy.
- Prepare and maintain management reports and records regarding programs and services.
- Assist in scheduling facility rental and program use, and manage facilities as needed.
- Establish cooperative planning and working relationships with co-workers, community agencies, and organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts, History, Recreation, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Art Management is a plus.
- Fluency in Italian and English; French is a plus.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
- General knowledge of principles of historical, recreation, and cultural arts planning and operations.
No specific prior experience required, but a demonstrated interest in cultural arts and history is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Arts, History, Recreation, or a related field.
