- Interpret technical drawings, pictorial sketches and 3D renders to translate design intent into manufacturable high‑jewellery pieces.
- Design and engineer each component and assembly to reconcile aesthetic intent with technical feasibility and durability.
- Execute construction and fabrication of jewellery using precious metals (gold, platinum) and complex alloys, selecting optimal processes to guarantee quality and resistance.
- Perform high‑precision soldering and joining using multiple techniques, including laser welding and flame (fire) soldering.
- Carry out micro‑setting and preparatory setting operations; select and handle precious gemstones in collaboration with gemmologists.
- Model and work wax for prototype development and prepare pieces for casting when required.
- Apply advanced finishing techniques, including mirror polishing, to achieve impeccable surface quality.
- Manage complex assemblies and final product integration, ensuring dimensional accuracy and functional reliability.
- Plan and prioritise workshop activities to meet delivery timelines without compromising quality.
- Collaborate closely with designers, gemmologists and production teams to resolve technical challenges and preserve the original design feeling.
- Minimum 10 years' proven experience as a goldsmith/bench jeweller, preferably in a high‑jewellery environment.
- Expert knowledge of the properties and behaviour of precious metals, including gold and platinum, and complex jewellery alloys.
- Proven mastery of high‑precision soldering techniques, including laser welding and flame (fire) soldering.
- Demonstrated expertise in micro‑setting and gemstone handling/selection.
- Strong skills in wax working and prototype preparation.
- Advanced finishing and mirror polishing capabilities to luxury standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and 3D renders; experience translating them into prototypes.
- Familiarity with quality control requirements and ethical standards specific to luxury jewellery manufacturing.
- Excellent manual dexterity, visual acuity and attention to detail.
- Problem‑solving aptitude and capacity to propose constructive technical solutions.

At least 10 years of hands‑on experience as a goldsmith/bench jeweller, with documented work on high‑jewellery pieces using platinum, gold and complex alloys, and experience in prototype development, micro‑setting and finishing to luxury standards.
Vocational qualification in goldsmithing/jewellery-making or equivalent apprenticeship; formal training or certifications in jewellery techniques and bench skills preferred.
