- Analyze competitor trends, market dynamics, and pricing strategies within the luxury jewelry, watches, and accessories sectors.
- Monitor sales performance through quantitative analyses and qualitative feedback from retail teams and customer interactions.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to identify business opportunities, assess potential risks, and understand customer preferences.
- Develop actionable plans in collaboration with Retail, Training, Customer Service, Product Categories, and HQ teams to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives.
- Conduct regular store visits to gain first-hand insights.
- Collaborate with Central Merchandising and Supply Chain to refine and update sales forecasts based on market trends and product performance data.
- Serve as the key liaison between stores and product category teams, fostering transparency and effective communication.
- Collaborate with the Finance and Administration team on buy-back, rebalancing, seasonal store closing, urgent and intercompany sales, and ad-hoc activities to optimize stock and costs.
- Define the OTB budget for stores, aligning with company strategy, regional guidelines, and stock level objectives.
- Monitor and control orders and replenishment, ensuring adherence to budgeted stock levels and maximizing inventory efficiency.
- Propose a buying strategy and support physical stores in their buying decisions to ensure a curated and relevant product offering.
- Update product zoning plans and assortments as needed, proposing adjustments based on sales data, regional requirements, and logistical considerations.
- Collaborate with the Demand and Supply Planner to optimize stock management for auto-replenishment product categories.
- Verify delivery and availability of new product launches in coordination with relevant teams.
- Work closely with the Visual Merchandiser to optimize product visibility and ensure appropriate exposure in-store displays.
- Contribute to the definition of a comprehensive product animation plan in collaboration with Retail, Training, E-commerce, and Marketing teams.
- Maximize opportunities to optimize stock allocation across the business to minimize the financial impact of depreciating goods.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail merchandising/planning within a luxury retail environment.
- Highly analytical with exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Commercially aware with a passion for luxury goods and the Bulgari brand.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Influential, entrepreneurial, and pedagogical in approach.
- Detail-oriented in analyses but synthetic and action-focused when sharing with others.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Minimum 3 years of experience in retail merchandising/planning within a luxury retail environment.
