Bvlgari General Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager

- Lead the General Ledger team and oversee monthly closing processes for two international entities.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Budget Controlling & Reporting teams to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Manage financial records with accuracy and timeliness, driving process and system improvements.
- Mentor and develop the General Ledger team in alignment with departmental and company objectives.
- Implement continuous assessment of financial close processes and internal controls, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Manage month-end closing process, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and review annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with local GAAP standards.
- Act as primary contact for external financial audits.
- Ensure proper bookings, balances, and reconciliations of bank accounts.
- Manage third-party customer accounts, including credit collections and VAT accounting.
- Coordinate tax and statutory return filings in collaboration with tax advisors.
- Develop and maintain accounting and reporting procedures to comply with Internal Control System requirements.
- University degree in Economics or equivalent studies.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role, with Big 4 experience as a plus.
- Strong knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel; familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
- Leadership skills to guide and develop an accounting team.
- Exceptional communication skills for building relationships with team and stakeholders.
- Results-oriented with a methodical approach to data analysis.
- Fluency in French and English; knowledge of Italian is an asset.
A minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably with experience in a Big 4 accounting firm.
University degree in Economics or equivalent studies.
