- Analyze material requirements using MRP systems and detailed forecast analysis.
- Collaborate with internal functions such as demand planning, merchandising, and production planning.
- Work with the planning office to achieve finished product delivery objectives.
- Analyze finished product demand across various dimensions including priority and consumption.
- Translate demand management and production planning inputs into objectives for the purchasing department.
- Assist in the development of the financial purchasing budget, including volumes, timing, prices, and inventory.
- Monitor, explain, prevent, and manage material obsolescence in collaboration with the Finance department.
- Interface with various company departments, including material research, testing, intermediate stages, and quality control teams.
- Conduct quantitative analyses to support the Purchasing Manager.
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of IT tools supporting the Purchasing function in collaboration with IT and Business Intelligence.
- Lead or participate in improvement projects and initiatives.
- Manage orders and work orders related to raw materials.
- Follow up with suppliers to schedule timely deliveries.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, or Statistics.
- Strong problem-solving, synthesis, and quantitative analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of operating systems such as Stealth, PLM, and Qlik is preferred.
- Good command of the English language.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel to suppliers.
3-5 years of experience in roles related to planning, purchasing, or demand planning.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, or Statistics.
