1. Analyze material requirements using MRP systems and detailed forecast files.
2. Collaborate with internal departments such as demand planning, merchandising, and production planning.
3. Work with the planning office to achieve finished product delivery goals.
4. Assess finished product demand across various dimensions including priority and consumption.
5. Translate demand management and production planning inputs into objectives for the purchasing department.
6. Assist in the development of the purchasing financial budget, including volumes, timing, prices, and inventory.
7. Monitor and manage material obsolescence in collaboration with the Finance department.
8. Interface with various departments such as materials research, testing and measurement, intermediate phases, and quality control.
9. Conduct quantitative analyses to support the Purchasing Manager.
10. Contribute to the development and monitoring of IT tools supporting the Purchasing function in collaboration with IT and Business Intelligence departments.
11. Lead or participate in improvement projects and initiatives.
12. Manage orders and work orders related to raw materials.
13. Schedule and expedite supplier deliveries.

1. Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or Statistics.
2. Proven problem-solving, synthesis, and quantitative analysis skills.
3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
4. Familiarity with systems such as Stealth, PLM, and Qlik is preferred.
5. 3-5 years of experience in planning, purchasing, or demand planning roles.
6. Proficiency in English.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
8. Willingness to travel to supplier locations.
