Bottega Veneta Merchandising Manager

- Plan and execute all merchandising functions, including sales management, seasonal buying, inventory control, product delivery, and training for Men's Leather goods and other categories.
- Identify sales opportunities and propose strategic actions to enhance the Men's business segment.
- Set store clusters by category for Men's Leather goods and provide feedback to headquarters.
- Oversee seasonal buying for Men's Leather goods in Milan and manage order uploads during buying campaigns.
- Conduct permanent assortment reviews and seasonal mapping by store.
- Rebalance stock through weekly store-to-store transfers and manage daily distribution by seasonal collection.
- Oversee markdown stock allocation and inventory management, including shipment checks and stock replenishment requests.
- Support stores with monthly sales focus, trend analysis, and sales promotion planning.
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team on product launches and monthly floor sets.
- Provide feedback on daily store requests and conduct regular store visits.
- Compile merchandising feedback, conduct market requests, and perform competitor price analysis.
- Update sell-through reports and conduct monthly sales analyses for business meetings with headquarters.
- Conduct seasonal collection training and maintain regular communication with the HQ Merchandising team.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and participate in store visits with the corporate team.
- Manage markdowns and price adjustments.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Logical and orderly thinking.
- Experience with POS and ERP systems.
- Attention to detail and result-oriented mindset.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
- Dedication to meeting deadlines.
Minimum of 8 years' experience in fashion merchandising or buying roles within international fashion or luxury brand companies, with a preference for Men's department buying experience.
