- Oversee the daily operations of the local finance team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial and management accounts.
- Manage controlling and reporting activities for Bottega Veneta entities in the Middle East retail sector.
- Collaborate with regional teams and the Shared Services Center in Dubai to ensure cohesive financial management.
- Ensure all financial data is meticulously documented and records are current and precise.
- Implement and maintain robust reporting, accounting systems, and internal control procedures.
- Prepare and present the monthly reporting pack with precision, resolving any discrepancies before submission to headquarters.
- Facilitate timely submission of planning scenarios, coordinating with various departments for data collection.
- Take full ownership of monthly income statement preparation, providing detailed variance analysis and commentary.
- Conduct periodic reviews of key balance sheet accounts to prevent misstatements.
- Work with shared services to ensure compliance with statutory and taxation requirements.
- Monitor cash flows and anticipate liquidity needs.
- Provide financial analyses for capital investments and contract negotiations.
- Develop and document business processes to enhance internal controls.
- Identify and assess potential business risks, offering strategic recommendations.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and financial institutions.
- Analyze monthly profit and loss statements, offering qualitative insights to management.
- Ensure cost control and operational efficiency across the organization.
- Degree in Accounting with proficiency in IFRS.
- Experience in the retail industry, with exposure to KSA and Qatar markets preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic is advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Proficiency in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and SAP.
- Dynamic and analytical mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
Previous experience in financial management within the retail industry is required, with a preference for candidates familiar with the KSA and Qatar markets.
Degree in Accounting.
