Bottega Veneta Footwear Finisher

- Execute final footwear finishing operations including application of insoles, cleaning and preparing uppers, pressing/ironing and final assembly/boxing.
- Perform detailed visual and dimensional quality checks to ensure finished shoes meet Bottega Veneta standards.
- Coordinate closely with the finissage area manager to respect production schedules and deliver required quality and timing targets.
- Document defects and non-conformities and feed back to upstream teams to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain an organized, safe and compliant workstation and care for finishing tools and equipment.
- 5–7 years' proven experience in a footwear finishing role within the shoe manufacturing industry.
- Thorough knowledge of footwear construction, materials (leather and textiles) and finishing processes.
- Exceptional manual dexterity, precision and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with production and quality teams.
- Footwear finishing techniques (insoles application, upper cleaning, pressing/ironing)
- Quality inspection and defect identification
- Packing and final assembly/boxing
- Production schedule coordination
- Manual dexterity and fine hand skills
Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in footwear manufacturing, specifically in finishing or final assembly within a luxury or artisanal shoe workshop.
Vocational secondary education or equivalent technical training in footwear/leather goods manufacturing, or comparable on-the-job experience.
