Bottega Veneta Finance Manager

- Lead Financial Planning & Analysis activities including annual budgets, rolling forecasts and business modelling to support the consolidation team in Italy.
- Manage monthly close deliverables: validate closings, perform GL reconciliations and produce variance analysis for P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
- Prepare sales and gross margin analyses and deliver ad hoc financial reports and scenario analyses to support commercial and executive decision‑making.
- Conduct capital expenditure reviews, disclosure preparation and contribute to consolidated reporting packages.
- Review and prepare accounting journal entries and provide technical accounting guidance to finance staff.
- Operate and navigate multiple financial systems (SAP, PBCS, JDA, HFM) to extract, reconcile and present financial information.
- Propose and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, standardization and accuracy across FP&A and reporting workflows.
- Anticipate stakeholder needs, define problems independently and recommend pragmatic financial solutions.
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (lookups, formulas, pivot tables) and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with SAP; experience with PBCS, JDA and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex analysis clearly.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional, team‑oriented environments.
- Knowledge of the luxury/fashion market with exposure to retail operations or auditing preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A or accounting, preferably with exposure to luxury retail or audit functions and consolidations/month‑end close processes.
