- Support the Balenciaga Americas business across the USA, Canada, and Mexico through various analyses.
- Engage in data mining and ensure the accuracy of accounting information during the migration to SAP.
- Assist in monthly closings, GL reconciliation, and perform comprehensive analysis on P&L and balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare month-end sales margin reports and conduct inventory control and analysis.
- Complete analyses on fixed assets and rents, and assist with the review of OPEX and monthly accruals.
- Review store rent, payroll, and tenant allowances monthly.
- Prepare or review journal entries and generate ad hoc reports.
- Identify areas for improvement and propose innovative ideas to enhance process efficiencies.
- Act as an ambassador for corporate policies, including T&E and corporate card usage.
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external audits.
- Navigate and master multiple accounting systems and sub-ledgers, including SAP, Movex, JDA, and HFM.
- Support the compilation of reporting packages.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- 5 years of experience in a similar role, with retail experience being advantageous.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with SAP and HFM is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- High regard for confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Positive work attitude and willingness to work longer hours during peak periods.
- Advanced technical skills, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables, Macros, SUMIFS.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with international colleagues.
A minimum of 5 years in a similar financial role, with a preference for candidates with retail experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $95,000 USD to $105,000 USD, subject to geographic differentials.
