Balenciaga Retail Buying Intern (Europe)

Balenciaga is a Paris-based luxury fashion house known for avant‑garde design and technical innovation. The Maison is part of the Kering group and operates a global network of boutiques and wholesale partners, combining heritage couture expertise with contemporary retail and digital strategies.

1. Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of sales performance and stock levels to inform buying decisions.
2. Monitor deliveries, receipts and returns, and ensure accurate inventory records.
3. Manage replenishment processes and optimise product availability across retail points of sale.
4. Provide operational support to retail teams and relay commercial priorities and retail guidelines.
5. Support the Buying team before and during showroom events, including merchandising and preparation tasks.
6. Collect and synthesise field feedback, conduct market analysis and deliver actionable recommendations.
7. Contribute to the development and refinement of the product assortment.

1. Currently enrolled in a Master’s programme (or in a gap year), ideally at a business school (Finance or Consulting) or a fashion school.
2. Prior significant internship experience in buying, finance or consulting; previous experience in fashion or luxury is an advantage.
3. Advanced Excel skills and proficient with Microsoft Office.
4. Excellent analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret data and make commercial recommendations.
5. Strong interpersonal skills, service-minded, rigorous, autonomous and adaptable.
6. Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian is a plus.
