Audemars Piguet Jewellery Setter
A Swiss luxury maison specialising in high-jewellery and watch components, operating within the global luxury sector. - Execute precision setting of diamonds and coloured gemstones (prong, bezel, pavé, channel and micro-setting) to exacting haute-joaillerie tolerances.
- Interpret technical drawings, setting templates and dimensional tolerances to prepare and finish settings according to production specifications.
- Operate and maintain bench tools and optical equipment (loupe, stereo microscope) and perform fine hand-finishing to ensure flawless aesthetic and functional results.
- Collaborate with the polishing, assembly and quality-control teams to ensure seamless handover and final conformity to internal quality standards.
- Diagnose and repair setting defects; perform stone replacement and rework with minimal impact to surrounding metalwork.
- Document workmanship and complete production records to trace batches and comply with internal traceability requirements.
- Certificate or apprenticeship in jewellery-making, goldsmithing or equivalent vocational training.
- Proven proven ability to work to high-precision standards in fine jewellery or watchmaking production.
- Excellent manual dexterity, visual acuity and sustained attention to detail.
- Familiarity with gemstone handling, orientation and basic gem appraisal considerations.

Typically 3–7 years of hands-on experience in jewellery stone setting or equivalent work within high-jewellery or precision watch component production; experience in an atelier environment is strongly preferred.
Apprenticeship or diploma in jewellery-making, goldsmithing, or equivalent vocational qualification.
