Audemars Piguet CNC Machinist
A Geneva-area luxury goods manufacturer operating within the global luxury sector. The employer emphasises artisanal precision, technical excellence and rigorous quality standards typical of haute couture and luxury accessory production, with production teams working closely with design and quality departments.
- Set up, adjust and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce high-precision components to specification.
- Edit and execute CNC programs (G-code); perform first-piece approvals and in-process adjustments to guarantee conformity.
- Interpret technical drawings and tolerances (GD&T) and perform dimensional checks using micrometers, calipers and CMMs.
- Collaborate with quality control and production planning to meet delivery schedules and maintain traceability of parts.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, tooling changes and document production parameters and non-conformances.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce scrap while preserving quality standards.
- Vocational diploma or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering, machining, or a related trade (or equivalent experience).
- Proven competency programming and setting up CNC machines; strong understanding of G-code.
- Solid knowledge of technical drawing interpretation and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Demonstrable commitment to precision, quality and documentation in a regulated production environment.

- Siemens Sinumerik
- Mastercam (or similar CAM software)
- Interpretation of technical drawings and GD&T
- Precision metrology: micrometer, caliper, CMM
Minimum of 3–5 years' hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC machines in precision manufacturing; experience in luxury goods, watchmaking, or high-precision subcontracting is highly desirable.
Vocational qualification/apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or machining (or equivalent technical diploma).
