- Develop and implement a comprehensive worldwide distribution strategy in collaboration with the Commercial Director.
- Monitor wholesale activity and key performance indicators to ensure profitable growth.
- Identify and secure optimal locations for brand presence, balancing image and profitability.
- Conduct store-vetting through travel and develop a robust training program to ensure brand standards.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage agreements to align with company interests.
- Establish and monitor budget investments and trading terms to ensure account profitability.
- Oversee operations for new partner launches, managing projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure partners create strong assortments and manage efficient order processing and shipping.
- Assess viability of new stockist requests and manage partner relationships.
- Plan and oversee showroom set-up and sales campaign execution.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to propose and execute retailer-specific strategies and trade marketing plans.
- Analyze retail sales and implement actions to boost performance.
- Provide post-season analysis and feedback to improve future strategies.
- Work with in-country teams to understand partner needs and develop operational procedures.
- Collaborate with merchandising to drive sales and influence future ranges.
- Coordinate with finance teams to ensure credit limits are adhered to and payments are received.
- Prepare and present sales strategy documents for company meetings.
- Establish key relationships with retailer headquarters and retail teams.
- Support, coach, and develop the wholesale team, setting annual objectives and monitoring performance.
- Proven experience in wholesale management within the luxury fashion industry.
