Rolex R&D Engineer

- Conduct scientific and technical monitoring in the field of innovative manufacturing processes relevant to watchmaking, in close collaboration with other specialists within the company.
- Lead micro-fabrication and silicon-related activities, including silicon component analysis and complementary projects such as thin films on silicon and new oxidation and etching methods.
- Develop innovative measurement tools, including projects like Envol and Colibri, and control tools related to silicon processes such as photoluminescence and cathodoluminescence.
- Master tools related to electrostatic measurements, particularly for silicon components.
- Develop innovative manufacturing processes, including hybrid assembly methods like glass frit and laser fusion, as well as 3D printing and photonic sintering for ceramics.
- Support the development of activities across various departments.
- Degree in Engineering from HES/EPF in physics or microtechnology, or equivalent training. Specialization or a doctorate is an advantage.
- Proven experience in innovative manufacturing and measurement processes, particularly in a cleanroom environment.
- Experience in project management within an industrial setting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Rigorous and autonomous with a pronounced sense of organization and planning.
- Dynamic, team-oriented, curious, and capable of working in a multidisciplinary environment.
Proven experience in innovative manufacturing and measurement processes, particularly in a cleanroom environment, and project management within an industrial setting.
