Louis Vuitton Senior Accountant, Accounts Receivable

- Ensure ongoing accuracy, reliability, and integrity of accounts receivable financial accounting.
- Plan, organize, and control accounts receivable for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing under Group guidelines.
- Conduct revenue recognition, collection, and reconciliation of accounts receivable and related accounting.
- Report monthly sales, accounts receivable aging, cash forecasts, and provide analysis for management.
- Manage customer refund communications and invoicing, including collection and related accounting.
- Handle annual closing tasks for accounts receivable, including financial closing and tax filing reporting.
- Maintain and manage payment methods, including credit card terminals and merchant accounts.
- Interact with stores for revenue recognition, accounts receivable booking, collection, reconciliation, and customer refunds.
- Investigate and resolve inquiries and issues regarding accounts receivable.
- Support financial projects, including new payment service provider implementation and improvements in store operations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably within the retail industry.
- Bookkeeping certificate grade 2 or equivalent qualification.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and Japanese tax regulations related to accounts receivable.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong PC skills, including Word and Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain accounting concepts clearly.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
A minimum of three years of experience in accounts receivable, ideally within the retail sector, handling high-volume transactions and credit management.
Bookkeeping certificate grade 2 or equivalent qualification.
