Louis Vuitton Inventory Planning Manager

- Oversee a team of six to manage inventory levels for leather goods and accessories within the network.
- Ensure inventory levels align with sales forecasts and are appropriately distributed across stores in Japan.
- Collaborate with Logistics, Merchandising, Retail, and central supply chain teams to define stock management strategies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and evolution of the supply chain model by staying informed about supply chain innovations.
- Control and challenge supply flow levels and monitor daily replenishment to stores.
- Build and implement inventory support strategies, including seasonality management and network extensions.
- Develop and follow up on continuous improvement action plans and share monthly insights with top management.
- Foster positive relationships with other departments and global supply chain teams.
- Develop training and skills development plans for the team.
- Bachelor's degree required; Engineering degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and/or operations.
- Experience in luxury goods or global companies is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Japanese and English at a business level or higher.
- Advanced data analytics skills with tools such as Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and Dataset.
- Strong problem-solving and rational thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and promote continuous improvement.
- Experience in leading and developing talent.
- Team player capable of working in a transversal environment.
A minimum of 8-10 years in supply chain, logistics, and/or operations, preferably within the luxury goods sector or global companies.
Bachelor's degree required; Engineering degree preferred.
