Louis Vuitton Employee Relations Manager

- Manage day-to-day employee relations issues for store employees, including disciplinary actions, coaching, counseling, internal investigations, and terminations, ensuring compliance with local laws.
- Conduct comprehensive investigations into employee concerns within the store scope.
- Advise managers and employees based on pre-established guidelines and instructions.
- Prepare and review documentation such as corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and job abandonment letters.
- Develop and deliver formal training to management on Employee Relations topics.
- Provide informal coaching to managers on human relations skills and employment law.
- Collaborate with Employment Counsel on employment cases and new legislation implementation.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee morale, performance, and workplace culture.
- Oversee the electronic learning management system for Employee Relations training, ensuring compliance with harassment training requirements.
- Manage the electronic background check system.
- Assist with employee termination packages related to store closures or job eliminations.
- Report and track employee documentation and investigations, analyze data for trends, and identify training opportunities.
- Manage the religious accommodation process.
- Maintain all relevant Employee Relations documentation for HR Generalists and management.
- Compile and document HR policies and procedures data from competitors and industry literature, presenting recommendations to management.
- Assist with HR projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience with exposure to Employee Relations.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in conducting thorough and unbiased internal investigations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and influence at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- High level of discretion, integrity, and ethical conduct.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on Employee Relations.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Competitive base salary ranging from USD $80,000 to $110,000 annually, with a range of USD $90,000 to $125,000 for candidates residing in New York or California.
