1. Ensure compliance of company benefit plans with applicable rules and regulations, including managing state and federal audits and filings.
2. Stay informed about laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting employee benefits.
3. Conduct complex data analysis, serving as the primary contact for non-discrimination testing and annual reconciliations.
4. Manage data in accordance with record retention policies and maintain confidentiality.
5. Develop and deliver benefit compliance training in collaboration with vendors.
6. Coordinate administrative steps to ensure compliance with policy terms and regulatory requirements.
7. Support the development and monitoring of U.S. group insurance plan expenses and governance processes.
8. Manage relationships with benefits brokers and vendors regarding compliance topics.
9. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to fulfill role responsibilities.
10. Support annual and ad-hoc projects focused on plan and policy compliance, including open enrollment.
11. Provide support to the Total Rewards team on key projects and activities.

1. 7+ years of experience in benefit administration and compliance.
2. Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field.
3. Knowledge of benefits compliance, reporting, and administration.
4. Understanding of Regulatory and Legislative impacts related to benefits programs (Sec 125, ERISA, 409A, HIPAA, etc.).
5. Familiarity with leave-related laws and regulations, including disability and family leave processes in the U.S./North America.

1. Ability to work with large data sets and strong analytical skills.
2. Experience with vendor relations and multi-state employers.
3. Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
5. Excellent communication skills with internal and external partners.
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and ownership.

7+ years of experience in benefit administration and compliance.

Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field.

$95,000 - $105,000 per year
