Kering seeks an Accountant in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, to support finance operations and transformation projects. Join a global luxury leader.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and audit schedules, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with year-end statutory reporting, including audits, corporate tax, and GST submissions.
  • Support the implementation of Kering Group’s internal controls framework and participate in transformation or process-improvement projects.
  • Contribute to the Shared Service Center's goal of achieving a paperless environment by redesigning controls, practices, and processes.
  • Undertake additional ad-hoc assignments as required.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in accounting.
  • Five years of work experience, preferably with initial experience in a public accounting firm, especially within the Big 4, followed by experience in an MNC environment.

Skills

Proficiency in financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Blackline. Strong knowledge of accounting standards. Independent and fast learner with a self-driven and analytical mindset. Ability to multitask and work under pressure with tight deadlines. Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in foreign languages such as Korean, Vietnamese, and Japanese.

Experience

Five years of relevant experience, preferably starting in a public accounting firm, followed by experience in a multinational corporation.

Education

Degree or diploma in accounting.
