Gucci Senior Operations Controller

1. Oversee the execution of shipping and receiving processes, addressing any issues with the Store Director or Operations Manager.
2. Ensure the timely movement of merchandise while adhering to established procedures and guidelines, including transfers, RTVs, and damage management.
3. Maintain an accurate and organized store inventory, conducting cycle counts and scheduled inventories with support from the Store Director or Operations Manager.
4. Develop and propose ideas to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
5. Support the sales team in delivering an exceptional client experience.
6. Manage merchandise ticketing, returns, and price adjustments.
7. Process repairs and damages promptly according to company guidelines.
8. Assist with the physical maintenance of the boutique as needed.
9. Ensure merchandise is packed, handled, and stored according to Gucci standards.
10. Participate in store initiatives and projects as required.
11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

1. Minimum of 2-3 years of retail experience, preferably in luxury or contemporary sectors.
2. Supervisory experience is advantageous.
3. Proficient in written and verbal communication.
4. Experience in retail or service-related industries is preferred.
5. Ability to analyze information, identify business priorities, and solve problems.
6. High degree of integrity and strong work ethic.
7. Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
8. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
9. Proficiency with technology, including internal retail systems and shipping software.
10. Ability to meet physical requirements such as climbing ladders and lifting boxes.

The base salary range for this position in New York City is estimated to be between $26 USD to $27 USD per hour.
