Gucci Financial Analyst

1. Process month-end accruals and reclassifications for operating expenses.
2. Update monthly financial reporting package for budget holders, including variance analysis of actuals vs. budget/forecast.
3. Provide guidance to budget holders regarding expenses and collaborate to control costs.
4. Review and approve invoices ensuring proper coding and assignment.
5. Prepare data and sampling requests for internal and external auditors.
6. Develop reliable projection models for retail expenses and related balance sheet accounts.
7. Monitor year-to-date performances and spending trends against financial projections.
8. Serve as a financial liaison to the retail network and other departments.
9. Maintain a rolling projection model for budgeting purposes at various levels for bi-annual budget/forecast processes.
10. Participate in the budget/forecast process for store expense cost centers.
11. Provide analytical support to store expense cost centers.
12. Analyze complex financial information and provide recommendations to management for decision-making.
13. Assist in the development or improvement of internal controls and corporate procedures.
14. Prepare ad-hoc analysis upon request.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial analysis and cost controls.
3. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
6. Flexibility with scheduling and ability to work longer hours during month-end close and projection periods.
7. Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative.
8. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
9. Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $70,000 - $80,000.
