Fendi Store Planning Manager

- Lead the coordination and execution of boutique projects, including new openings, renovations, relocations, and closures, ensuring alignment with global Store Planning guidelines.
- Supervise millwork and fixture installation for both new developments and extraordinary maintenance works.
- Manage the handover process of boutiques to Retail Operations, ensuring stores are fully operational and in line with brand standards.
- Conduct site inspections to review progress, ensure quality control, and validate compliance with brand and local regulations.
- Collaborate with global Architecture teams on design adaptation for regional requirements.
- Oversee all store maintenance activities across Japan, including lighting, HVAC, fixtures, technical equipment, and cleaning services.
- Implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure boutiques remain in optimal condition.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure consistent brand presentation and timely resolution of maintenance issues.
- Develop and manage operational and capital expenditure budgets for store planning and maintenance, in partnership with Finance.
- Lead vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, and performance evaluations for maintenance, cleaning, and specialist services.
- Ensure all maintenance and construction activities comply with local regulations, health & safety standards, and brand policies.
- Oversee the implementation and daily usage of the facility management software to monitor, track, and report activities.
- Degree in Architecture or related disciplines preferred.
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in store planning, facility management, or retail project management within the luxury retail or high-end fashion industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction, millwork, and maintenance services relevant to luxury boutiques.
- Proven experience in budget management and vendor negotiations across multiple countries.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and demanding retail environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Proficiency in facility management systems and MS Office, CAD, 3D software and Photoshop.
- Fluent in English; Native level in Japanese.
Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in store planning, facility management, or retail project management within the luxury retail or high-end fashion industry.
Degree in Architecture or related disciplines preferred.
