1. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory.
2. Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
3. Process inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damages in compliance with company policies.
4. Support compliance with established company policies and standards, including security and record-keeping procedures.
5. Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss.
6. Communicate with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments.
7. Participate in all inventory and cycle counts.
8. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
9. Complete price changes within the boutique.
10. Pack or wrap customers’ merchandise when necessary.
11. Solve problems and make informed suggestions to improve service and productivity in the receiving area.
12. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
13. Participate in store meetings and training seminars.
14. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

1. Ability to handle receiving operations effectively, including proper handling of merchandise.

1. Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
2. Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation.
3. Proficiency in processing information and merchandise through computer systems.
4. Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
5. Competence in operating necessary equipment, including phone systems and inventory-control computer systems.

Previous experience in retail stock, shipping, or receiving is required.
