1. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of all shipping and receiving functions affecting store inventory.
2. Maintain an orderly and neat stock and receiving area, ensuring merchandise is properly ticketed and sensored.
3. Process all inbound freight, returns-to-vendors (RTVs), chargebacks, transfers, and damages in accordance with company policies.
4. Support compliance with company policies and standards, including safekeeping of company funds and property.
5. Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss.
6. Communicate effectively with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments.
7. Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
8. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
9. Complete price changes within the boutique.
10. Assist in packing or wrapping customers’ merchandise when necessary.
11. Contribute to problem-solving and make informed suggestions to enhance service and productivity.
12. Participate in store meetings and training seminars as necessary.
13. Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.

1. Previous retail stock, shipping, or receiving experience.

1. Proficiency in handling receiving operations and merchandise management.
2. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
3. Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation.
4. Proficiency in processing information and merchandise through computer systems.
5. Ability to adjust priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Competence in operating necessary equipment, including phone systems, inventory-control systems, and sensor-tag removers.
7. Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
8. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy lifting.

Previous experience in retail stock, shipping, or receiving is required.
