Christian Dior Chief Procurement Officer

- Develop and structure the global procurement organization, prioritizing key areas.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis and align procurement strategies with the luxury industry's trends and the brand's strategic objectives.
- Understand and address the procurement needs of various departments including design, production, marketing, finance, and HR.
- Define strategic procurement objectives in alignment with the overall goals of Christian Dior Couture.
- Establish a detailed action plan with measurable objectives, timelines, and clear responsibilities.

- Draft precise contracts in collaboration with the Legal Department to protect the brand's interests.
- Implement a supplier performance tracking system based on key metrics.
- Analyze existing procurement processes to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
- Deploy e-procurement tools to automate purchasing processes, enhance transparency, and reduce costs.
- Define clear and measurable CSR criteria for supplier selection in collaboration with the Sustainability Department.
- Evaluate suppliers' CSR performance and prioritize those meeting high social and environmental standards.
- Reduce energy and water consumption in procurement processes and minimize waste and greenhouse gas emissions.
- Identify procurement-related risks to the brand and defend its interests in collaboration with the Legal Department.
- Ensure legal and financial compliance, safeguarding the brand's reputation.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance.
- Professional certification in procurement (CIPS, ISM) is advantageous.
- Significant experience in the luxury sector, preferably in fashion or leather goods.
- Excellent knowledge of luxury markets and suppliers.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in e-procurement tools and technologies.
- Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian is a plus.
