1. Develop and implement a comprehensive worldwide distribution strategy in collaboration with the Commercial Director.
2. Monitor wholesale activity and key performance indicators to ensure profitable growth.
3. Identify and secure optimal locations for brand presence, balancing image and profitability.
4. Conduct store-vetting through travel and develop a robust training program to ensure brand standards.
5. Lead contract negotiations and manage agreements to align with company interests.
6. Establish and monitor budget investments and trading terms to ensure account profitability.
7. Oversee operations for new partner launches, managing projects from inception to completion.
8. Ensure partners create strong assortments and manage efficient order processing and shipping.
9. Assess viability of new stockist requests and manage partner relationships.
10. Plan and oversee showroom set-up and sales campaign execution.
11. Collaborate with marketing teams to propose and execute retailer-specific strategies and trade marketing plans.
12. Analyze retail sales and implement actions to boost performance.
13. Provide post-season analysis and feedback to improve future strategies.
14. Work with in-country teams to understand partner needs and develop operational procedures.
15. Collaborate with merchandising to drive sales and influence future ranges.
16. Coordinate with finance teams to ensure credit limits are adhered to and payments are received.
17. Prepare and present sales strategy documents for company meetings.
18. Establish key relationships with retailer headquarters and retail teams.
19. Support, coach, and develop the wholesale team, setting annual objectives and monitoring performance.
