Alaïa Senior Area Manager Europe

- Implement the wholesale strategy as defined by the brand.
- Manage and drive performance across a network of multi-brand and department stores, achieving sell-in and sell-out targets as well as retail excellence.
- Anticipate and negotiate seasonal Open-To-Buy (OTB) in alignment with the brand's objectives.
- Build strong partnerships with wholesale partners through effective daily communication.
- Supervise showroom appointments, collaborating closely with buyers to define seasonal assortments.
- Conduct weekly sales and stock analysis, supporting performance through swaps, reorders, or incentives when possible.
- Lead bi-monthly commercial follow-up meetings with partners to evaluate performance, define actions, align on objectives, and share brand updates and strategy.
- Negotiate partnerships and expand the department store network with a selective distribution approach.
- Create synergies with the Retail team to ensure shop-in-shop networks reflect the brand's retail strategy.
- Provide in-depth analysis of brand performance mid-season and end-of-season, including other numerical, retail, and CRM KPIs.
- Maximize marketing investments by developing precise marketing plans with each partner, ensuring optimal visibility and alignment with the brand's communication calendar.
- Oversee payment and delivery follow-ups with logistics and accounting services.
- Manage a Wholesale Account Executive for Europe.
- Over 5 years of account management experience, with a focus on developing luxury franchise business in the European market.
- Established network with wholesale partners, particularly department stores and key accounts across Europe.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with international partners.
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally to ensure the desired level of excellence for the brand.
- Organize training sessions with key accounts.
- Ability to effectively communicate the brand's vision to all partners.
- Proficiency in Excel (capable of managing complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint.
- Quantitative skills to analyze sales performance, identify trends, and provide business development recommendations.
- Ability to establish internal relationships and lead projects across various departments.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years in account management within the luxury sector, focusing on the European market.
