Zenith Technical Project Manager - Movement Designer

- Develop new mechanical calibers and complications, and enhance existing calibers while adhering to timelines, quality, and cost standards.
- Actively participate in the design phase with the product department.
- Utilize CAD software and numerical simulation tools for comprehensive development of mechanical calibers and complications.
- Oversee the creation of plan files according to ISO standards and independently manage the planning process.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to adapt CAD designs and plans based on capabilities.
- Participate in product coordination meetings for prototype and pre-series production, ensuring movement-case alignment with the case constructor.
- Support industrialization and procurement during component manufacturing.
- Collaborate with laboratory watchmakers for prototype assembly and fine-tuning, and define procedures for validating technical solutions.
- Analyze production issues, propose solutions, and document improvements for construction or component plans.
- Implement continuous improvement solutions for existing products in 3D.
- Analyze, create, and implement modification requests in collaboration with requesting departments and the development team.
- Ensure follow-up on tests and re-industrializations to optimize functions and improve overall costs for the technical office.
- Degree in microtechnology engineering with a specialization in watchmaking construction or equivalent education.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical watches with complications, possessing strong theoretical and practical watchmaking knowledge.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and associated PLM, with Creo and Windchill as advantages.
- Knowledge of numerical simulation tools such as Ansys and/or LS-Dyna is beneficial.
- Project management skills with proficiency in standard office software.
- Methodical, rigorous, autonomous with an analytical and organized mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, open-minded, curious, proactive, and a team player.
Minimum of 6 years in the field of mechanical watches with complications.
Degree in microtechnology engineering, specializing in watchmaking construction, or equivalent.
