Yves Saint Laurent Staff Accountant

- Support Saint Laurent Americas, including USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Panama.
- Collaborate with Kering Shared Service, external BPOs, and the Finance team during monthly and year-end closing.
- Integrate and review local trial balances into the ERP system.
- Prepare Margin Files and manage monthly journal entries.
- Analyze monthly financial activities and identify improvement opportunities.
- Review and approve expense reports for the LatAm Region.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency of processes in partnership with Kering Shared Service units and external BPOs.
- Maintain a clean trial balance by completing balance sheet reconciliations for all business units.
- Approve invoices and inventory stock adjustments for the Americas Region daily.
- Support the Senior Accountant in monthly variable rent calculations.
- Manage intercompany activity and end-of-month billing and reporting to Kering affiliates.
- Assist in the preparation for annual external and Group Internal audits.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and special projects.
- Monitor internal control compliance and SOPs.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role; retail experience is advantageous.
- Understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, V Lookup, and SUMIFS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate data, preparing concise reports and presentations.
- Capacity to multitask while adhering to critical deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for maintaining relationships with international colleagues.
- High regard for confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to work extended hours during peak periods.
- System savvy with a motivation to learn new technologies; SAP experience is a plus.
A minimum of 2 years in an accounting role, with retail experience considered a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred.
