- Support Saint Laurent Americas, including USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Panama, and Dominican Republic.
- Collaborate with the Brand Accounting Manager, Kering Shared Service, external BPOs, and the Finance team during monthly and year-end closing.
- Oversee integration and review of local Trial Balances into the ERP system.
- Prepare month-end journal entries for Store and Corporate accounts for the Americas region.
- Prepare Sales and Margin File and calculate Cost of Goods Sold.
- Analyze Statutory vs MRP differences between BPO and YSL America.
- Prepare Monthly Closing Package for Controlling Group, focusing on Balance Sheet & Cash Flow elements according to IFRS guidelines.
- Assist the Accounting Manager in meetings with department heads to review financial results and ensure proper expense coding.
- Approve invoices daily in the Invoice approval tools for the Americas Region.
- Create and maintain different Cost Object components, Internal orders, and WBS codes in SAP.
- Prepare monthly variable rent calculations for payment to landlords.
- Support Lease accounting activities with the Kering Lease Accounting team and Real Estate team.
- Ensure IFRS 16 compliance and platform maintenance.
- Assist in the compilation and preparation of the Annual Tax declaration for Canada and Latam Business units.
- Support management in preparing for annual external audits and Group Internal audits.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and special projects.
- Monitor internal control compliance, SOPs, and more.
- Prepare Additional disclosures in the consolidation tool.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting roles with managerial responsibilities; Retail experience is advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles and procedures, including IFRS.
- Advanced technical skills, including Excel, Pivot Tables, XLookup, SUMIFS, Index Match, Power Query, PowerBI, SAP, HFM.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Positive leadership qualities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate complex data.
- Proficiency in preparing concise written reports and presentations.
- Capability to multitask while adhering to critical deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for maintaining relationships with colleagues and counterparts overseas.
- Commitment to confidentiality and discretion with sensitive company information.
- Proactive in anticipating workload impacts and maintaining a positive work attitude.
- System savvy and motivated to learn new technologies.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years in accounting roles with managerial experience, preferably in the retail sector.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred.
