Yves Saint Laurent Retail Buying Intern
Saint Laurent, a prestigious luxury fashion house founded in 1961, pioneered the concept of luxury ready-to-wear with its 'Rive Gauche' line in 1966, symbolizing youth and freedom. Acquired by Kering's luxury division in 1999, Saint Laurent continues to lead the luxury fashion industry under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since 2016. The brand offers a wide range of collections including women's and men's ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties, and eyewear.
- Assist in the activities of the Retail Buying Department for Europe and report directly to the Buying Manager Europe.
- Produce weekly and monthly sales reports and conduct product category, collection, and store analyses.
- Perform daily sales analysis.
- Manage stock, transfers, and restocking operations.
- Handle ad-hoc requests from boutiques.
- Contribute to the development of product catalogs, order forms, training materials, and sales aids for boutiques.
- Communicate with European boutiques to monitor performance and support retail actions.
- Participate in buying campaigns, attend showrooms, and create buying tools and order entries.
- Illustrate purchases.
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a business school, seeking a final-year internship.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing and analysis.
- Excellent command of English and French.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Product sensitivity and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to propose innovative solutions.
Previous experience in luxury retail is advantageous.
Master's degree in progress from a business school.
